Director of Flight Operations

Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Flight Operations has full responsibility for all aspects of the airline’s operations.  

This is a unique opportunity to experience the complex challenges of flight operations management in a dynamic, exciting and customer focused environment.

Applications are invited from candidates with the following qualifications and experience:

Ø      Previous AOC Post holder preferably within the UK – or equivalent experience

Ø      Highly experienced Pilot with previous management experience is essential for this role

Ø      Excellent knowledge of JAR Ops and EU Ops is essential

Ø      Previous flying experience with at least one of our aircraft type would be advantageous

Ø      In addition to ‘holding the reins’ the DFO would also be expected to coach and mentor the other senior crew to assist them in their own development

Ø      Twinjet would be happy to consider applications from recently retired senior captains interested in a ground based role working office hours to suit both the operation and the individual
